Creative Projects can have a mix of acoustic and/or digital tracks. Digital sounds are innumerable, either pre-recorded or generated by the composers. Acoustic sounds are recorded in the world or by three categories musicians. Each Creative Projects is limited to two tracks recorded by our professional musicians.
Featured Performers are involved in a number of ways (see below).
The Call List of musicians can read, record & upload tracks on Saturday, December 5th by 7pm CST for composers to mix for TRACKdrop on Sunday @ 5pm CST (see the schedule).
Participants in the Institute (faculty and composers) will record throughout the Institute and upload final tracks by 7pm CST on December 5th.
Saxophonist Eddie Codrington and electric guitarist Brandon Bae will be our two featured performers. More information about Eddie and Brandon will be posted in the coming days.
Brandon and Eddie will participate in five ways during the Fall 2020 Institute:
posting on the Song Blog prior to the Fall 2020 Institute
demonstrating their musicianship in an introductory video prior to the Fall 2020 Institute
meeting everyone and introducing their work on Saturday, November 28
reading through music written for them on Tuesday evening, December 1
recording tracks on Saturday, December 5
